Course Description
The Thermal Imager Operator Program is an 8-hour blended learning experience designed for firefighters, company officers, and chief officers seeking to master the tactical and technical application of Thermal Imaging Cameras (TICs) on the fireground. Modern TICs have evolved dramatically in clarity, responsiveness, and reliability—but understanding their underlying science and operational limitations remains essential for confident, data-driven decision-making.
This program combines facilitated lecture, live demonstrations, and live-fire practical evolutions to build a complete operator-level understanding of thermal imaging technology.
